Randy Souza brings to KSR&P, PC over 30 years of experience in commercial litigation, business disputes, construction matters and complex civil litigation.
Randy focuses his practice in such areas as contract disputes, business valuation proceedings, corporate dissolutions, construction disputes, receiverships and insolvencies, creditors’ rights matters, non-competition agreements, professional negligence claims, tax appeals and intellectual property matters. He has extensive experience representing contractors, business owners, corporations, shareholders, financial institutions, governmental bodies and professionals throughout Southern New England.
Randy is a member of the Rhode Island and Massachusetts Bar Associations and was admitted to practice law in all state courts in Rhode Island in 1989 and Massachusetts in 1988. He is also admitted to practice in the federal courts of Rhode Island and Massachusetts, as well as in the First Circuit Court of Appeals. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School in 1988 and earned his B.A., magna cum laude, in Classics from Amherst College in 1985.
He is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association Superior Court Bench-Bar Committee and the Ethics and Professionalism Committee. Mr. Souza has been selected by his peers for inclusion in “New England Super Lawyers” every year from 2011 to 2019. He was also named as one of the Top Lawyers in Rhode Island by Rhode Island Monthly magazine every year from 2011 to 2019.
